- Tue Aug 14, 2007 1:28 pm #19725 so me my g.f and my friend had nothing to do sunday so we decided to take a drive down to NYC. Its only a 2hr and 15min drive from R.I so we went down and while i was there i took some pics. Enjoy

While i was there The Dominican Republic was celebrating thier independence so they had a big parade around the city and a festival going on. i only got 1 pic but i guess its better then nothing lol

My wifes been to NYC and talks it all up and my dads friend is from chicago and talks it all up soo i wanna go to see what they are talking about! NICE pics

- Wed Aug 15, 2007 3:10 pm #19895 My girlfriend is from NJ. So this Christmas was my first time that I ever got to see NYC. It's a neat place to visit. We went to the Trade Center memorial over Christmas, but didn't go when I was there in July.

And that way we forget about the beautiful places nearby...for example, there are a lot of people that would love to go to Scotland or visit a city like London or Edinburgh for that matter (like myself) but on the other hand, a lot of people want to visit Amsterdam too...(I go there regularly when I'm in the Netherlands) You get used to where you live and you forget to appreciate your haves... Don't get me wrong, I want to go to NY too, it's just weird reading the reaction of people living in places I would love to go to myself!

I'm thinking about it moving there in a few years maybe out in southern cal or the bay area.....I'm tryna get "hyphy" ahahaha
