I think it's time has come

- Sun Feb 10, 2008 3:41 pm #41673 Well i have been doing alot of thinking recently. and have come to a conclusion that i think the time of the hatch has come. After a recent scare with the motor and realizing that the quarters are going on me, I had been tossing the idea of taking a loan to get it up to par again... but then my love for the Integra kicked in again.. so. here's what my plan is.

I'm going to go to the bank, see if i can get a loan for $5000 then if i get approved for that, hunt for a clean Teg, i have one in mind at the moment but i'm waiting for a response from the seller it's a 95 with fresh paint. If not i am sure i can find one through my stepfather as he owns a dealership.

now if all falls through and i cannot find a Teg that fits in my budget then i am going to use this money and do up my hatch. But i am almost certain i can find a decent Teg that fits my budget... it's sad to let her go. but i have also wanted a Teg since i was 10.... I will keep you all updated.

Damn straight i will, i may be going to sell the hatch but i'm not a ditcher lol

Besides a DC is just an EG with a prettier body(IMO Anyway) :thumb:

I would love to get a GSR but my budget only allows for LS's which is fine by me as long as it's a manual. :thumb:

You can always slap a VTEC head on it later down the road. :thumb:

No reason to get rid of a good car that is paid off!~!!!


these words couldn't ring truer for me at the moment, and this is the part that makes me say to myself... "keep the hatch and do what you wanted to do with it" as i pay nothing other then repairs or mods

So i know this decision will be tossed and turned in my head numerous times... but at the moment i figure i will wait on this, i want to move back to New Brunswick at some time. and having car payments will only hinder that process.

So i am going to get the suspension for my car. do the manual swap and get This
fix up the body and then call it a day for the time being

I think that this thread was a little prematurely posted :lol:

This sounds like you felt like me when I was looking on autotrader for fun and found my EJ1 and just couldn't let it slip by.

I had a perfectly good sedan running awesome and in semi-decent shape, so now I have the two, and just sparing the coupe from the winter as long as I can :lol:

If I get into the RCMP I'll leave the sedan to my mom who can later give it to my younger brother in a year or two and that way she won't have to drive her '90 Mustang GT Cobra in the winter anymore :P

Taking risks makes life fun and interesting. If shit goes bad, at least you have a chance to learn :D

Summammmabeyotch....I cant believe you pulled the K-20 card....hahahah....ever since JDM theory thats all everyone has been saying to me....k-20 swap....hahahah....now they got me thinking about selling the stang just to get the K-20....
