ok so this thought came to m head what if you kept the stock air box but just modded it. To where you would just fit the pipe for the cold air through in place of the rubber piece. place the elbow in the air box, positioned to where you would be able to go though into the space in between the bumper and the splash guard. where your filter would be placed. I dont know if this would work but just a thought that came to mind when i started looking at it. also you could use the air box as a place to put ice for a turbo system.....I dont know just a thought that came to mind

- Tue Apr 14, 2009 4:27 am #110437 I thought of doing something similar, with a Stealth Turbo System, Get ebay 4-2-1 header, Put the turbo on the bottom of the 4-2 peice and route your Charge line to the bumper, through a black inter cooler into your your OEM box, Hid the blow off valve inside there and have your charge line go to the intake.

All flat black of course.
I got lazy and did a Stealth Nitrous install instead. Much less fabricating involved.

they did away with it here a couple years ago. intake, header, straight pipe, however the hell you want to run it!!!

they're like that cause theres sooo many cars on the road in states like cali and NY that they get strict on it due to emissions..... its probably a routine thing to pull over hondas to check for "illegal mods". in cali they take the car.
