Anything on eBay motors with the words "jdm" that was probably made in China or Thailand .......

even if it was made in japan its still isnt JDM..
jdm is a market which cars are built for

like for instance my sedan was built in the plant out in jaypan
it was built for the USDMarket.. there is nothing JDM about my car (frm the facotry, ive got sir corners and side markers )

now the "slang" term for JDM is just str8 annyoing..
its almost better to stay stock.. everyone bitches about wanting to be diff
nd shit.. when half the civics have the same fucking parts but with a diff color.. i bet more then half members on here have or had those gay ass "jdm" black housing headlights.. (im guilty there i used to have a pair, then went for the sir look)

the term jdm just irrates me

Never have I understood why people need driver's badges, shocker decals, and clusters that don't even have mph

.. ok so as for the no mph thing.. im from canada and sure i have the mph on my cluster.. i would rather not have it...i have no use for it... that doesnt mean im going to go get a jdm one... black headlight oh yeah i rock them.. buts thats cus i like them period.. lots of truckx and cars now a days have them..in m opinion they look good.. now to the main jdm thing.. stock, rare parts that no one really has. at least around here ya ill grab it if i find it.. will i ever try to be "jdm"? no.. i do my own style and dont care what ppl have to say but really imports are now all jdm in this way or that.. and with the whole japanesse built car for usdm.. its the exact same as my civic that was built in CANADA.. So i agree with all who have said that your car built for usdm in japan ISNT JDM

Personally I'm indifferent towards the whole thing, I buy what I like whether it's a goofy decal, yellow headlights, green wheels or whatever and do what I like, like painting the Japanese "Rising Sun" on the hood of car

But yes, I guess my biggest annoyance would have to be all the things labeled as JDM on ebay..

i hate how when i go to meets people go "oh shit dude you got amber corners those are hella jdm" or some stupid shit. as i understand amber corners arent "JDM" i just like the way they contrast with my car shiiit not everyone revolves off of stupid shit labelled JDM.

and hella flush has to be one of the more illogical trends in history, i dont care if you like your car less than an inch if the ground, but people please understand its not practical. gosh

im sure they do.. and will understand that its not practical when they cant keep tires from wearing out within 3 months. for obvious alighnment issues.
i kinda like it, but prolly wont ever do it.

or they cant drive it everywhere they want because of rough terrain

at least bosozoku hasnt really took off in the U.S. from what ive seen

To me the whole offset fad is cool just b.c of how it makes the car look....im sorry but alot off ppl that commented of saying that fad is stupid also commented positively towards stanced posted cars. Also the fact of having the car so low to the ground u can't run over sticks <<< im sorry but its a choice and way of life but the fact that ppl doing it on stock wheels or crap like that is dumb!!!!!!

I believe that ppl should build the car for themselves not for others...the ones that jump from fad to fad <<<<<that's the worst fad I could even dream about
