damn that is a kick in the balls :(
If I were you I'd look at a beater VX or even a crx HF. If you do a lot of driving it could pay for itself pretty fast.

I'd be screwed if I didn't have my HX to commute to work.

Lucky for me I only take my car to and from work. Maybe a lil spirited driving on the weekends. My job is only 11 miles from my house and its all highway, so its not too bad.

I'd actually like to get a truck, or something like a Tahoe somewhere down the road. I need something with a tow hitch that way I can get a trailer and turn my hatch into a track only car. I really like to lay into the car and gut another 300 or so pounds out of it, but having to drive it everyday, thats something I just cant do right now.

I mean I work quite a bit but never will have enough to get a nice swap even a B16a ive been thinking of building a Z6 but not sure if I should go turbo(and dont hit boost all the time) or high compression....and if i went either way im sure id be spending more and more money in the gas. I am sure if i didnt have a CX body w/Z6 swap right now i wouldnt be as money deprived if i had a Si or something heavier.

And I am still getting crappy gas mileage due to my lead foot.....but none the less I have begun the process of making the car lighter very much lighter but making it look good in the process(Rear seat delete under construction) Sol seats since the way i mounted my DAD racing seats was welding a hunk of steel to the seat rails themselves....(gotta switch them out soon) but in means of a nice swap I wont see one for awhile so for now i am just going to see about slowly increasing the power of my Z6 (which vtec dose not run (no idea why)) and hopefully allowing it to get better fuel mileage.

Through air flow and spark....thats my next swap...

And I hate the gas companies who think they can just change the price of gas when ever how ever they feel and none the less get away with it all hardcore like with profits up the wazuu!!

We pay 2,7 USD per liter of 95 octane :)

Carparts is also expensive as hell a stock new ignition distributor would cost me 1,260 USD

- Fri Jun 13, 2008 1:34 pm #58351 honestly im done complaining about gas. i won't put anything but v-power in my car and it really doesn't bother me anymore. i don't even look to see how much i spend. i put about 20$ every 4-5 days or so. we still drive honda's and unless you have a built DD, it could be alot worse then you could be alot worse.

I wish fuel only cost that over here, I'm putting in about £30-£35 worth every 4-5 days which works out at about $60-$70 but I suppose its coz I've only just built her and am still running V-tec ALL the time lol :hehe: :thumb:
