Pretty sad site seeing that car get crushed but im sure there was more to it than he was just caught racing and it was taken off him and crushed, probably a regular offender thats been caught a few times id have thought

um i would have to disagree with this part. i drive normal all day every day. i cant risk losing my car to racing. but I, my friends and tons more ppl get pulled over for nothing. i got stoped and got a ticket for my window tint. funny thing is it was about 115 degrees out and my windows were down. he made me roll them up and look. he also then gave me a sitation for my licens plat being to low. WTF? it was mounted in the correct position and sat higher then my cars plates sit now. so thats bull shit. unless yor car is 100% stock. good luck. i drive every day and worry that imgoing to get stoped. its fucked. i almost hate driving on cali roads now cause there is so many rules, laws and restrictions. and ya they will impound your car, crush it or sell in a police action if they want to. its fucked.

I got pulled over for loud exhaust when it was legal, speeding, and for having expired tags...no tickets..I've never had a problem with California cops or the highway patrol in AZ that pulled me over.

You just have to not be stupid with them. Most are pretty nice. Especially when my friend got pulled over for speeding down the street in a RHD EF hatch with full roll cage. They popped the hood and he had a b20 vtec/turbo. No tickets for him. He just talked to the cops and they were chill.

- Fri Apr 17, 2009 7:00 pm #111313 ya if ya have a honda or any " street racing machine" as the call them you will get looked at by cops all the time. and ya not all the cops are dicks. i was racing once when i had my ford focus and was racing a escort sport. well we both jumped off the light with tires spinning and just to are left was a citrus heights ca police. well i freaked out and ran from him cutting into the mall parking lot and he did get me. well i was sertin i was going to jail and car get impounded. well after he let me know how pissed he was for me running he actually liked my car and was complimenting me on it. he said go home and stay inside. and if he saw me agin that night he was going to fuck me royaly.lol but that is my best police story i got. and ya some parts of cali are diff. it all depends on the city, or town your in. highway pats well there dicks i only got off once with them. they dont care what your story is.

- Fri Apr 17, 2009 8:48 pm #111331 i got a ticket while i was slowing down for a turn i was only going 40 for like 2 seconds in a 25 zone (in the middle of the night like at 12 i was trying to get something to eat)and when i was slowing down the cop turns on the lights the alameda charger cops over here are assholes worse then biker cops

i never heard of any car getting crushed up here when there was the big bust on feb of last year no ones car got crushed just impounded and they even dropped all the small tickets so that hour or so writing hundreds of tickets were just for the news

- Sat Apr 18, 2009 7:55 am #111407 I got pulled over for 50 in a 40 zone back in 03 by a LA traffic cop... didnt argue or anything so he wouldnt start with picking on the exhuast and the drop.... but then he noticed the apex vtec controller on the dash and asked what it was. i said it was a controller for my stero ( cuz VAFCs are not allowed)... and he goes like dont like, " dont lie, i know its a vtec controller, we take special lessons for u honda guys" ... i was like :o
i got told to get out of the car and searched cuz i lied... he looked under the and even noticed the hiden nitrous fogger ... got slaped with a ref. and speeding ticket ...

maybe if i didnt lie and confused he wouldnt have gone the whole way, but we'll never know ...
dont lie to CA cops
