- Thu Apr 30, 2009 8:45 pm #114194 This is why I only speed where I know its ok, like on a race track, but its part of growing up I think, when your young you think your a stud and can't be touched, just wise up, no one likes an unsafe driver ;) and yeah take some driver safety course's and it will help with reducing points. :thumb:

completely agree, i wasn't necessarily bashing on his civic, or anyone's. its was just what i was saying at the time was id rather get caught speeding then be getting in accidents.

i've driven some fast cars.. my father owns a car dealership, and does work for another one.. Saturn Sky Redline Turbo, Mustang GT's, Porsche Boxster S, RX8's, Jaguar XKR and the guy he works for owns a 69 Camaro with a 572 crate motor and a Shelby 427... Point being its not what you drive, its how you drive it. there is a time and place for putting your foot to the firewall, and public roads and construction areas are not those areas. Try a drag track, or go to your local circuit on a lapping day where you pay 100 bucks, get a race permit attached to your license, and have a go. save your life, others lives, and your money, and be smart about it all.
