i got married pretty young and once you get married you gain weight i was at 200 and gain 30lbs over the past 3 years .
i know cardio is a must so i have to start off and challenge myself to the good old mile and work my way up of coarse.
any lifting routings im thinking of getting rid of the fat and look somthing like shorter David beckham lol
my arms are skinny for a fat guy and legs are skinny for a fat guy just t the torso thats got more fat to work on... i should post a pic idk.
let me know what you guys think or know. ive read some of this thread and its time for me to join the club. and ive joined a gym with the wife since its real cheap.
Don't start off running, just walk. You should walk first thing in the morning if possible before eating. Do a few miles or 45 minutes 1-2 times a day if possible. (If it becomes too much on your legs at first then just do it once a day to begin with and remember to take a day off when needed)
If you have a pool at your gym or know someone who does then swim at night after you have had dinner. If you can't get to a pool, no worries.
Now to lifting, since you haven't done it in a while you will be very sore in the beginning, but don't let that discourage you. Just push through it. I would go with a 2-3 day split. The only way you build muscle is with REST. So..... Monday could be Chest and Triceps, Wednesday Back and Biceps, Friday you can work your legs. Sunday repeat. So it won't be a perfect schedule because it will require you to go to the gym on different days every week, but it works. Also, remember to work abs during every workout session.
For supplements, if you can afford protein get some Gold Standard Whey Protein. Don't go to GNC unless you have a Gold Card go to Bodybuilding.com to purchase it. Also, drink LOTS of water, around a gallon a day.
