So I have a suggestion.. I've never thought about offering this suggestion to someone quiting smoking but i figure if you wanted to try it you could be the test pilot.
I take Bronkaid to help me breathe better when I run.. It's 25mg ephedrine and 400 mg guaifenesin, its a GREAT over the counter asthsma medication. It helps restore free breathing and loosens phlegm.
Honestly I think it could help and if it does It could be good help for others.
You can get it at any walgreens, cvs or online ordering. you have to have ID and sign a federal statement that your not using it to make meth.
I get it at cvs and its about $8 for 24 tabs. I would suggest only taking 1-2 a day depending on the need. (Do not exceed 6 caplets in 24 hours.)
Bronkaid temporarily relieves: shortness of breath, tightness in chest, wheezing and cough associated with bronchial asthma, helps loosen phlegm (mucus) and thin bronchial secretions, helps to rid the bronchial passageways of bothersome mucus and drain bronchial tubes.
A few things to note from my experiences:
-It makes you sweat a little more within the first hour of taking it.
-Drink LOTS of water
-Dont take it close to when your going to bed, it may make it hard to fall asleep.
Let me know if this is something you want to or will try. and make sure to log your experiences day by day.
