Defi VSD-X heads up unit....

Well searching for a s2k cluster for the idk how many times ive done this because i have a guilty obsession with it and wishing to put one in my hatch lol.....anyhow i found this and it looks pretty damn cool

HUD displays are fucking cool, but i dont think paying 400 some dollars for it is worth it. S2K would be the best IMO. besides, i dont think if you are going to have sun in your eyes, you would very much have the HUD visible to you.

Final opinion: (s2k cluster)>(defi HUD)

ohhh without a doubt s2k over the defi set-up but yea i know its just starting as well but theres one of these defi units on ebay for like $20 that someone used on a s2k or something idk....anyhow itd be great for night but daytime not to much...

but yea once again i look at the s2k and think about putting it in my car and then the realization of $$ comes into play....lol ive been looking at many different clusters as well idk why i told myself no more but i mean ive already had a ek cluster dc cluster.....and im kinda getting bored again of the eg cluster....

do a fully custom gauge cluster:

Carbon fiber sheet as a background and a small variety of needed gauges, such as:
Speedo,
Tach,
Fuel level,
Water temp,
Oil temp,
Oil pressure

thats be pretty badass IMO!

would be hard to pull off n look good and clean but diy ftw.



and gl gettin the s2k cluster supposidly it aint that hard to fit from write ups ive read

yeah, except u need a speed converter box for like 100 some dollars from some guy in UK.

As well as a converter for engine temp I belive.

I found a guy who made his own chip that did both speed and temp conversions. and he gave the code needed to make one yourself. However if you dont do programing it probally wont help you.
