Well essentially,

From now on, we are limiting Mininova.org to our Content Distribution service.

Great so now with that and Demonoid out of service, well Demonoid is "rebuilding lost data" but the site is down till it's done and has been for a couple months now. The number of torrent sites is dropping, and those were the two i use mainly

guess it's Piratebay.org from now on... unless others have recommendations

Mininova was some of the best sites made by dutch people and now BREIN (brain) (organisation against piracy and "illegal" downloadable content) has forced them to shut the site down.... and they've win the court.

i've personally used piratebay for as long as i can remember, just read comments and such and i havn't gotten one bad torrent yet...
never even messed around with the other ones

yeah my personal preference has been Demoinoid, then it was Mininove... but Piratebay is good as well, just not my preference

That and Finalgear.com has always hosted their Top Gear torrents on there...

Mininova was good, I agree, but...there are others! Piratebay is most likely to be next on the hitlist...don't expect them to last untill next summer.... You can always use the searchengine for torrents: torrentz dot kom

yeah good shout on the government, credit crunch and they want more money so they crack down totally on downloading, here if ur seen downloading large amounts they cut off ur internet until a enquiry is posted, which what about the people who rightly pay for their downloads ? Not saying theres alot of them tho!

and i use torrentz.com means u can search alot of websites to see what the comments are, piratebay and i think heet(if thats what its called) are the best, heet give pictures aswell if ur looking for screenshots of movies or programs.
