my missus was stuck in it for 5 hours trying to get home from work!

her car was full of water, its drained out now but its gunna take a good few days to sort it.

Yeah, I heard on the local news that you guys were getting dumped on with rain.

yeh, every where is flooded.

now the thing that tkes the piss is we have had sooo much rain that the water suppliers have had to shut down so we dont even have running tap water now!

the pics on that link aint shit though, there were places that the water level went over the tops of cars.

and the water level at the local docks is STILL rising!

Unbelievable man, I can remember pieces from the news just a few years ago, stating how much the English love gardening, but weren't allowed to use tapwater to spray on the plants because of the drought...

Did you have any nice weather over there this year, or just rain... we only had a nice and early spring for two months, and maybe 2 or 3 weeks of sunshine since... may.

Yeah man when i was down at JAE the motorway was flooded so people slept in there cars and lorries lol

its getting worse before its getting better!

all the power for my local area has been shut off due to one of the small power stations being flooded... so thats 50,000 house with no electricity!

also, the water works for the whole of the south west has been shut off because of flooding and we have been told that we wont have clean running water for atleast 7 - 14 days! WTF

just got a txt messgae from the missus saying the electric is back on so thats 36 hours with out it.

all out food is spoilt though!

just gotta hope they get the water back on a.s.a.p
