Long story short, re-formatted but never installed some files properly so when it goes to install off the disc its asking for the disc but not finding it.

Is there a way to force the setup for formatting again because i can't seem to get back to that setup it just goes straight to the setup for installing xp.

Plus im ragin, can't listen to any music cause the pins for the usb cable to the external hard drive are bent     :x :x :x

x2 (but for reals)

Boot up from your disk, some manufactors put it so it will automatically boot from a cd when you put it in, If not you can set that up in your bios(either del, F2, or F10).

Once you boot to your cd. A few windows in, It will detect you have a windows install and ask if you want to repair windows, Say Yes and let it do its thing.

Good Luck. :thumb:

Make sure you are booting off the cd it should prompt you to boot off the cd its only there for like 3 seconds.... if your on a dell hit the F12 key at startup and hit cd to boot from.
