Rolled my car

- Mon Aug 13, 2007 5:42 am #19609 Took a corner too fast, hit a patch of gravel on the side of the road, car did a 180 and slid across the road into a ditch. Luckily I was stopped by a fence. My passenger and I are ok, but my guess is that the car will be written off. Probably at least $5000 worth of damage. Arghhh.

I'll try and get some pictures when I meet with the insurance adjuster this week. Basic specs as follows:

JDM OBD1 B16A Swap
Ground Control Coilovers
Front strutbar - Neuspeed
Rear - Megan Racing
Motegi MR7 17" Rims.
2.5" straight exhaust into an N1 muffler
Brand new short shifter, shifter bushings, and Type-R style shift knob
Brand new clutch slave and master cylinders.
Brand new seibon carbon fiber hood.
Brand new, 5 day old Exedy Stage 2 clutch

I hope it doesnt get written off, and if it does I hope I can buy it back. :(

- Mon Aug 13, 2007 5:43 pm #19656 Yeah, thats the most important thing for me. Cars can be replaced, but human lives cant. Had the car landed 2-3 feet further back than it did, I would have taken a fence post to the head. Instead, my hood got punctured by it.
