In essence thats what he did. He just put a civic body onto the Subie frame.

good reasoning behind it

I was looking NOT to install the scoop, but the law of place aviable fail me. the only way to put a FMIC was to move the radiator in the back... All the piping will be a nightmare and no I will never remove the renforcement beam bumper to install a FMIC! I know the efficacity of that beam...

well in my eyes its still a subaru with a civic shell on top.....

much like (ahh past memories you can skip if you dont want to understand what i mean).....In monster garage when they where doing a dmc delorean hovercar....and they had a hovercraft and a delorean and jsut placed the shell ontop of the hovercraft....

yea it was alot of work but in my eyes its not a true civic as it was just sheet metal its still a subaru frame motor etc.....

now id be horribly surprized tho i was thinking about someone doing this anyhow taking a 4wd wagon and doing a suby swap in it now that would be a subaru powered civic

just my two cents

i cannot deny however that this guy put a shiton of work into the car and definately made a beautiful sleeper lol since he descized the subaru as a civic....to im surprized he didnt take the glass out of the car while he was prepping it up i would think it would bust or something....
