I started hunting when I turned 12. First year out I shot an elk(Rifle-Idaho). Since then I've shot 2 more elks (Rifle - both in AZ) and a Mule deer (Archery - AZ).

I havent hunted since a little before I got married (over 4 years ago) So I got the itch and Put in for the draw here in az for this years hunt, I find out in august if I got drawn. :FingersCrossed:

If I dont get drawn for Rifle hunt. I'll just do archery when it opens, they dont have a draw for archery here.

8) I smoke my own meat! :hehe:



Fishing:
I used to fish ALL the time in ID. BUT since being in AZ I havent really, cuz it just sucks here. There are a few decent lakes up north but only made the drive a few times.


Anyone else into this stuff??? If you have pics, post up!


And please... keep the tree hugging, bleeding heart 'poor lil bambie' posts out of here. KTHXBAI.

- Thu Jun 17, 2010 5:24 pm #200790 I never tried it and never thought I would want to. I never even liked guns growing up, until I went to Texas one xmas and my uncle & grandpa took me out into the country with a truck full of guns. :twisted: Gun Fever!

I've still never shot an animal, but I see deer as the enemy around Ohio. So many dead on the side of the road and so many hitting cars. I love venison in any form. I can't stand the sight of gutting one though, so that alone ruins it for me.

Like I said in the jerky thread... I just wanna shoot the gun and eat the jerky :thumb:

I used to fish when I was a little kid... I don't think I can relax enough now to fish- always something going on.
