- Wed Jul 07, 2010 6:02 pm #203550 Right now I don't know whether I want a small cruiser, a sport bike, or a naked bike, my top pick would be a Honda 599 cause for some reason they just tick all the boxes that tickle my fancy, but they are hard to find here since they were only sold for 3 years in North America

That's part in my problem as well, if i knew how i'd just get something cheap this summer and ride it for a few months then sell it when i wanna get something else

- Wed Jul 07, 2010 7:53 pm #203569 Definitely ride somethin you dont give a shit about around for a while first... EVERYONE will dump/drop their/a bike at least once. Its just one of the garauntees of riding a motorcycle. I grew up around them dirt/street bikes and worked at a motorcycle stealership for almost a year...which gave me the chance to ride some sick bikes and a nice variety as well.

- Wed Jul 07, 2010 9:45 pm #203583 Yeah that's what I'm planning on doing for my first bike, maybe get a Honda Rebel or an old Ninja 250, nothing huge or powerful, just something fun and light for my first one then after a year or two move up in the world and hopefully get a Honda 599

Do what I'm doing, find a riding training course near by and take it, I would love to get a bike and just jump on it, but there are so many things different about riding a bike then driving a car
