Civic EG

This hatch as you see has a lot of damage. The guy that own it is going to give me everything but the motor. Are deal is if i pull the motor for him he will give it to me. The hatch needs a new front radiator support, hood, fenders, bumpers, pillar, windsheild, motor. I always wanted a hatch but not sure if i should try an save her or not. Id like to know what you all think.

I'd pull the motor, get the car for free, then part it out and buy a nicer shell to start with

yea. that looks like some tough body work. esp the windshield sides

id take it for parts.

I hate it too everytime i see a civic in teh yard that looks mint i hate them but when ones been in an accident like this well there really isnt much hope if you think about it since that damage is done to a structural part of the frame not a body panel i mean if it was fender, door and rear quarter id say its easy to fix as you would really just replace that stuff however something like that i would say requires a body specialist so id say buy it mainly for parts the car will live on in its parts id hate to see it go to teh junkyard with all those parts on it than as a shell

I really appreciate everyone's comment on this thread. But now the build has begun. Turning this junker SI into a peppy DD. Just dropped money into new parts an i have two integra's that are being donors. Fast idea what is happening.
