I bet the answer is take out loans or some other way to acquire large amounts of money.

But I see all these people who have major builds and do it
in such a short amount of time with massive amounts of money.
Crazy expensive parts out of nowhere
Is there some big secret to getting parts

Ive worked my ass off to get just a car and an engine
Id have to work for years just to be able to do what some people do.

I know most of my friends with some sick builds had acquired A LOT of the parts needed before even starting a thread. Then just posted updates as they put the parts on and what not.
One person I know, with a covershot and centerfold in many magazines, took out a second mortgage on his house and took the equity out to do his build and buy his Rega's. (stupid way to do it IMO, but whatever)
Another dude I know has MAD crazy credit card debt... but... he has a sick car

and lastly...a dude I know, lost his parents in his teens and was left with a payed off house, lots of money from life insurance and a few cars payed off... he works full time and as you could imagine has lots of extra money to spend on what he wants. He has a fully build turbo'd K in a type R integra Full cage, Many sets of 'real' wheels.. that and a Lexus VIP'd to the max. but I'm sure he'd give it all up to have his parents back


Everyone has a different story, just have to write your own! The average 'Sick build' that is well put together takes time. Dont get ahead of yourself, it will all come together soon enough!

By the looks of your sig, you know from experience HAHAHA Just kiddin man.

The guys that i know that build cars fast, are doing it with other peoples money, or sponsors. By other peoples money, i mean sponsor money, mommy and daddy, money that comes in due to owning a business, but instead of customer cars, money gets spent on their own shit. stuff like that. #1 thing is sponsors. You'd be surprised what one phone call can do. I got my AFI mani for damn near nothing when they sell for 1300, just for making a call and doing something different.

My build started in january 2007, and is barley finishing up. all great things take time. Do it right though. if you're going to do anything, do it right, or don't do it at all.
