If you've got a story from somebody, car related, that's total bull sh*t post it up.

Earlier tonight I heard a good one. A friend of this kid I know apparently bought one of the Skylines from 2Fast2Furious, a stunt car he says, for $10K but he apparently has to go to Florida to get it. As he put it, it was taken off a jump and the frame is bent so it's no big deal to fix. I'll believe it when I see it, as far as I know it's not even street legal, hence the stunt vehicle use. At the same time he was trying to sell me an RB26 for, get this astonishing low price, $700 and he would install it in my EG sedan, including ALL necessary fabrication for $500. Mind you, this would include making it RWD and fabricating a tranny and drive shaft tunnel. I was laughing my ass off on the inside all the while playing along with his bull sh*t fest. It was quite entertaining to say the least.

lol id say buy a cheap eg and see what he dose but say if you dont complete it you have to buy me a k swap and everything needed....

how old is this kid who can perform such cheap swaps and installation of front wheel to rear wheel. I sure don't want him to touch my car.

my friend thinks his 1997 neon auto trany with the stock 2.0L engine is faster then my civic. i have a 1996 civic SI with JDM D15b vtec with DC header and cold air intake and allso he said his (AKA his dads) Truck can beat my buddys 86 Mustang Cobra with the 5.0L with MSD and air intake because his truck has a 5.3L v8

He's still in high school or, at most, just out of high school or early college. He told me was an iron worker so I asked him were he works, me looking for a job and all, and he tells me he works for himself and owns his own shop.

Not to sound like a hater, but I think he's the outcome of parents with to damn much money.

my dads homie says he can sell a d15bv head for 350, w/o dizzy and tb, i can pick one up COMPELET for 100-150 bucks
also this fool says he can buy a fully built n/a b16a for 150 bucks... ya ok, he is so full of shit.. 0h and he also said he can spend 1000 on a non turbo wrx (older ones) andd rape any car out there and that 1000 wont even touch the motor.. he says so much shit its funnie.. it goes in one ear and out the other

there is a kid around here that claimed to have a brother that built a 400hp bubble hatch for $600 that could stomp anything else around. it had a big azz turbo and the headers were run right out of the front fender.


i was talking to some kid at wendys one night who had an ugly four door eg with a molded body kit, 18s, and neons who claimed to have a b16... pops the hood and there sits a stock as a rock d15b7.

more recently there is one kid around here who always hated on EGs left and right and preached the EK gospel everywhere he went. he always talked down to everyone because hes God's gift to the Honda world. he talked about how badass is LS/VTEC build is gunna be and how hes doing it himself... so he pays a shop to build his motor and he wiped out his EK coupe in the snow and totaled it. with no car he finds a deal with 2 EG coupes. ones a beater and one is really nice. so he pulls his swap out and drops it in the nice coupe and talks about how badass and JDM its gunna be and how hes puttin a turbo setup and hes gunna have 400 at the wheels... he spends all this time and money on this car, gets it turboed, works all the bugs out, and puts down 270 at the wheels and it looks like every other black coupe around

when i started to work were i currently work at i had a guy tell me he had built an all motor ls that put down 600hp to the wheels

so i was with my friend going to this party recently, and i noticed this caviler chillin at his friends apartment. i was hey that's that douche bag that revved me up.
I get to talking to him right, him and his room mate with a 4door saturn were all like with this and that done to these cars blah blah blah.
i wasn't going to be a tool and be like you know.... Header, Intake and exhaust are not mods that really make a difference especially on those cars.

so i kept my mouth shut and started to ask the guy with the caviler whats done to it.
he replies and i quote " It has the 2.2 ecotec with headers intake exhaust and.. it should have atleast 230 hp to the flywheel. im going to eventually turbo it and blah blah blah."
i was like really?...
my friend had the base model sunfire with said mods(granted it was the 2.2 no ecotec motor it was base.) he made 100 whp... 100 even..
i wasn't going to tell him that because i knew he would have pulled out some BS ricer excuse some where.
he also said "oh and i have a WS6 that is really fast. (it was stock) it runs 12.5's!" i was like really? really....
by the way this guy drives, i dont think he could even manage a 14.0 out of it. thats if he had one..


oh and some jack ass was checking out my car in front of that guy's apartment and like one of his buddies was like i guess they like ricer cars! hes glad i didnt clock him in the face calling me a ricer when his buddies has a 4door saturn with a shopping car wing and the other room mate had a half primered caviler that sounded like complete ass. but i guess thats the way hondas are seen in tulsa. (even tho theres not one single sunfire/caviler in town that is faster than a DX civic)

A guy i met had an integra, said it had a b18cr head ported n polished + a b20 block,
he opened up his hood an i read the engine number, which said b18b, i knew he was bs when i saw the b18b rocker cover...

talking to this one guy. he said he had a 69 dodge charger he picked up for $1000 and had a 226 in it. then he told me he drilled the engine to a 440 hemi and put in 1200hp for 3 grand. with cast iron pistons lol
