#230476 i have a EF sedan with a d16z6 swap. i figured that it would be the axle because everytime i turn to the left it makes a clicking noise. if its not that i guess it would be a good time to replace it anyways. '

but my question is what axles do i need? in order to have them fit properly? do i just use my original spec EF sedan model axles. or do i get the axles for a different model?

#230652 Sounds like your CV joint is shot, definitely replace that axle. Since the EF's came with a D series, I would think that another stock EF axle would be correct :thumb:
I would double check though...

#231142 the ef's have 2 diff kinds of spindle counts,

just take the axle out and count the splines on both sides
so when u go to autozone/ napa where ever u get ur parts
you know what axle to get, i just went through this on a ef 3 weeks

Get an EF Axle

Chances are your running a cable tranny. unlike the Hydro Tranny the D16z6 would be bolted to stock. Believe the axles work with each other however get one for the EF.

Also if they ask you if you want one with ABS support it will be a thicker stronger axle then the non-ABS Axle.
