ive seen gsr spec r hp and its 200 average and srt-4 is like 228 hp who would win in a drag? and why?

I think it would all depend on the driver.

Srt-4 would destroy the eg out of the hole, it has like 250 tq. and a gsr has what like 130? You might start catching up at the end due to being almost 800 pounds lighter but by then the race should be over. Anyways still depends on the driver. I saw a built ls vtec lose to a 5.0 mustang due to HORRIBLE shifting, yes it was sad

a stock SRT-4 can do a 13.8 with a good driver. I've seen K20a hatchys go high 12's with no problem.


I've also seen 'built up' SRT-4's run 14's because of worthless drivers..

Yes a k20 would beat a srt-4, a k20z3 is the best motor to get for k series. Don't waste your money though put 10 grand into your gsr instead of a k swap.

i used to own a srt-4 before i came over to the honda side .
all stock i ran the car 13.9 sec in the 1/4 full build 11.4 on drag radials
my buddy had a gsr hatch with bolt ons and gasket match port job
he ran 14 flat to 14.2 sec in the quater

yes the srt-4 has a shit pile more torque but with a fast high revving gsr the out come on the street just messing around from a roll (30mph)he'd pull me up to about 60 then i'd pass him and gain some lengths till about 120 then we'd even back out

2 front windows are power rears are roll down.

And the race would be close dependant on the drivers.. but also SRT - 4 gear ratios for what it is suck.
