The cautious side of me would Invest it and make more.
The excited part of me would probably go buy a Lamborghini Aventador and buy a house. haha

Be smart with it invest 3/4 so my kids could live off it, and take the rest and pay off my house, and finish my cars and help friends out with theirs.

nah if you don't have kids then why set any aside yet, besides investing it all and doubling or allowing that money to make you ten times as much a year is better than blowing it all.

1. give parents enough to retire/pay off everything (god knows how much they've helped me)
2. put my girlfriend and sister through college
3. donate rest to local animal shelter
4. spend a SMALL amount on a house/car

Pay off bills/loans and invest the rest. It would be tough to not buy a car though... but a million bucks can go pretty quick these days. I'd want it to make the most out of it.

1 mil aint much anymore...but its more than I have. I would get a house and furnish it, buy a newer car and a few mods that I "must have" and invest the rest. I get a little more rediculous as the amount goes up cuz I know I'd have a bigger cusion....but ^^^this is my core plan for any huge lump sum I may come into

First thing is first, Id take 500K and give it to my parents.
350K into investment.
and then the remainder, I would buy a nice house. Finish the Civic Build, Buy a Evo again, and buy a STi to Daily.
Money spent well.

Buy new car for a daily and find a clean EG hatch to build.
I'd buy a house with a sweet shop, as well. Maybe put a lift in it.
The rest, I'd put in my bank account.....maybe buy some Intel stock or something.

relocate to thailand and live for ever...
hmm id probably buy land since it's actaully not to expensive here, and invest a good amount of it. and finish my civic and my SC and build a 2J cressy.

On second thought I would find one of the VERY few Motorex R34 Skylines. I want one soooooooooooo bad.

Batcave all day long, I would have my own batcave that I could collect my cars in and work on them.
In reality I'd probably invest it and make more to support my family and give my son a good future.
