I just cant take a car that looks like that serious. regardless of whats done to it (engine, suspension, etc). it just looks so awful.

Cool car but I'm really not feeling the scooby hood scoop, even if it is functional, the "wally world special" stick on fender vents, and the paint scheme.
Then again, it's not my car and I don't know your friend so maybe there's a method to his madness. :D

^^^ Yeah, you laugh at it like we are now. Then you race him and get smoked...he gets the last laugh....bastard! LoL

You mentioned all that engine work and not one shot of the engine...major fail.

I dig the car minus the scope and fender vents. Other wise i love the paint scheme.

Yeah i admit its not the best looking race car, the guy's pretty old like late 60's so i guess thats what a 60 year old think's cool.

the hood scope is for the ITB's i guess....
and the fake fender vents probably got them free and just stuck them on
:?

didn't get a shot of the engine because he wasn't by the car when i was taking photo's for him to pop the hood..

but the car is pretty light, one man can push it with little effort and it handles like a boss, and the acceleration is very empressive i must say :D

60's huh? That explains that fan in the cockpit then. Looks like he has had that shit since he was a boy!

I like the giant ON/OFF switch as well. :)

His age does kind of explain the styling, my dad was kind of the same way with his '94 S-10, he wanted to customize it but he was a little out of the loop as far as styling goes if you know what I mean. :D

If he enjoys it that's all that really matters though, it's awesome to hear that
age hasn't slowed him down at all as well, you really are only as old as you feel. :D :thumb:

^^^Yeah I ain't mad at him. I was more disappointed with the car if the guy was younger cuz, as you said, he should be more up on styling trends. Granted to each his own...but IDK I think a younger person should know better.
