89 hf crx

- Wed Apr 24, 2013 6:26 am #330932 so ive been out of the honda scene for a bit now but my friend wants to sell a 89 crx my question is since i have my dashboard, door panels left over from my 93 cx hatch will they fit, even if i have to mod a few things?

his original dash is a bit janky looking so thats why i ask. i will eventually go all stock again once i can afford it

imo i would just go get another CRX Dash and put it in,

- Wed Apr 24, 2013 6:22 pm #330943 I had a 90 hf right before I got my 95 hatch. My honest opinion is like the one above. Do not waste your time trying to modify the 93 dash to fit into the 89. Every edge will have to be modified. By the windshield, the height, the width, brackets fabbed up to bolt it down. The climate control from the 93 will have to be rewired to work in the 89(which is easy if you like wiring) the radio harness would need rewired. Plus I personally think the 89 dash is more convenient. The shelf it has next to the cluster is ideal for smokes or a cell phone. I absolutely hate my 95 dash.
