Tow Truck Pwnd my Wallet

- Sun Mar 30, 2008 8:53 pm #48366 So last night i was coming home on the freeway from a friends house who live about 50 miles away. about 10 miles going home i blew a radiator hose. had no cash on me so couldn't jam over to autozone or nothing to get a hose and some fluid. plus it was like 9:30pm so no one was open, had to call aaa (emergency towing kinda stuff) and have my car towd home :-\ it cost me $296 OUCHIE !! my insurance only covered 7 miles :[ went to get a new hose and the dam thing was like $4.... -_- $4 hose cost me $296


eh thats what you get with 15 year old hoses though.

better then leaving me car strand'd somwhere 48 miles away on the freeway though...

Nice to have when you own older cars it has saved my ass a few times.
