Project PC

Ok, when I'm bored I intend to do random crap at home to my computer. It's shall I say another hobby away from cars. So I've been working on water cooling my PC. It's not a top of the range computer, infact most the components are dated.

Running an AMD 4000+ 2.4GHz OC'd @ 2.8GHz @ 32C, anything over, it decided to become unstable for some reason. When I was running it on air it was at 42C.
I think my lame OCz Ram lets it down.

Anyway, here's some pics...

It was only a cheap water cooled system, with Danger Den products.
What you guys think :thumb:

Thanks man :thumb: my goal was to see what kind of temps water cooling gave me.
As I used a single 80mm radiator, I got lame temps. I bought a brand new dual 120mm radiator, but it pissed all over my stuff. Never bought brand new stuff from that comapny again.

I was saving up for a new computer setup, but now saving for a new car. My hobbies cause more spending than earning. So I have to take it easy haha.

Yeah, I was in the same boat before I looked into doing it. But they call it water cooling but it's not actually proper water.
I'm using a product called Feser One, it's a non-conductive fluid. You could fill your bath up with this stuff and get in with your TV it wont do anything. It's pretty cool stuff.
Also, you can't use water anyway. As normal water not only if leaked would explode your computers hardware, but normal water is also corrosive to the pipes and water blocks / radiator.

This stuff is UV green, looks the dogs under the UV lights, my lame phone cam dosn't do it's justice.

Here's a few shots of someones build who I use to know...
