I'm looking at maybe buying one. Seems like they're worth their weight in gold. Just unsure on how much torque is acceptable for general automotive use, cracking lugs, etc. Also unsure on how much I should expect to spend on a decent one.

Thanks.

My bro's got a snap on one, as long as its charged full u'll be happy but for things that are really stuck on and its even hard with a bar then its unlikely itll crack it tbh but honestly for a car that uve worked on before and know that everythings been off before and greased up it'll save you a shit loada time bud.

Not sure how much they cost but can't see them being cheap!

Quick question in regards to the impact guns? Does anyone know if the Cordless gun has more torque than the Cord one? I know its a stupid question but i used a cordless one before to take of the crank pulley bolt and it was a success and now im trying to use a cord one and its being a B*@! :x to come off. Any inputs on this?

My Snap-on cordless impact has a maximum breakaway torque of 550ft lb
and tightening torque of 350ft lb. with 2100 BPM (blows per minute) i'd imagine the corded would be about the same, depending on the brand. the air impacts are anywhere from like 300-700 ft lbs. this is all snap-on brand Btw
