- Sun Dec 21, 2008 4:26 am #84768 I was when i was a kid and in my early to late teens....though kinda lost the controllers everytime which sucked but yea im still into them not as much but still into them. I read up on them every now n then. godda love what people are able to do with them i mean they are seriously like a mini car that is just a little harder to drive since you arent behind the wheel your just watching it. But yea looks like a sweet body wonder if they make the old battle wagon style like the #16 Motul Mugen Civic hatch now thatd be unique and sweet.....

Truely though id like to get back into the hobby it is kinda expensive thats why i stick with model cars 1:24 lol hurray for car stuff because without it we wouldnt be car nuts now would we....

Ive found RC GEMS on craigslist for super cheap! i bought this sportwerks 1/14th car for 30 bucks because the guy broke it! 10 bucks to fix and now i have a 180 dollar car for 40 bucks! Whoot!! ive always wanted an eg model car or even die cast. Ever come across any?

I want the eg one too but it doesnt fit my cars - would need to buy the FF chassis, and shell, and wheels... fuck that!!

As hobbies come, it's pretty cheap.

I just have a little XMODS RSX that I've hotted up with some parts from atomicmods.com (little RC plug there).





I also have an EG model I'm working on at the moment. It's the SiRII from Hasegawa models, I'm sure you've seen some around eBay. Still haven't found a diecast. That would be really sweet.

Then my dad bought himself one because it was so much fun.




I was running them at Regan Park track in Medina with some friends like 7-8 years ago and somebody was like "Hey you know those are vintage?" So I quit beating them up lol. The other one is a not-as-vintage road car that is fast as hell if I could just control it.

I think I drove them once or twice since 2000, but just don't have the time anymore. If I had free time, it would be toward the top of my list of things to do - fun as hell!
