I just found a very nice crx si for sale. no motor, radiator, passenger seat. Very freakin cheap. Owner lost title, but it is in his name. Should be able to get it from his as a lost title. Wants $150 for the car right now, plus I will have to persuede him to get the title.

what does Civic-eg think? Should katie and I get it?

nah but ive dealt with people who "have to get the title" before i bought it. Not fun.

make them get the title first or they can probably get a copy of the title from the DMV

hold is hand and waltz down to the DMV. if it really is his and he really wants to sell it then he shouldn't have a problem doing that for you... if its all clear i'd say go. toss a junker motor and rad in it, a seat. and sell the sucker for 2000 bucks. pretty easy deal i'd say.
