#112140 I feel more connected to my hatch when driving than I do in other cars. Not just feeling the road, but the way the seats feel, door panel fits my elbow perfect, shifter is in the right spot and I like where the steering wheel is. My 88 prelude was the same way, but the hatch is faster, lighter & more fun to drive.

I also love having a hatch with a tail gate :thumb:

edit: also easy to work on!

#112142 I... don't.

Just to throw a spanner in the works ;)

I did, but then one day I took it for a spirited drive and it didn't get my adrenaline flowing. At all. I supposed this was down to the lack of power and all sorts of other things and after having a go in an EM1 I decided that the engine swap route to something more powerful in my civic wasn't for me.

What I DID love about it when it interested me was the bonkers handling with some simple mods. But as above, this left me cold as well after a while it just isn't as exhilarating as it was.

#112154 i love mine cause first off i got the thing for $100 bucks. it runs so damn good. if this were any other make like a ford or chevy it would not be running. there easy to fix up, parts are always avail. whats not to love? and when i sit in my car we become one. lol ya sounds corny but its true. i have a whole diff view wile in my eg. :woot: :thumb: :woot:

#112158 I liked my EH when i had it, but my teg is just so much more, I love it, i'd like to get rid of the body roll, but that's what happens when you use near oem struts to lower your car, someday i may go with Koni Yellow's and GC's or Tein Basics, but i haven't decided yet, i need to save money to move out.

but it's basically what Brain said bout his hatch.

#112173 I loved my last ej because it took over after I wrecked the first coupe. So I got attached to it and fixed up from stock and I put a lot of hard work and effort into that coupe. Then it got stolen.

I'm starting to get hooked on the hatch but it will never be the same as my coupe. Plus it's not mine so it's going to be hard to put work into a car that isn't mine. It's like having a step child. It's not yours but you love it anyway lol

#112193 Well I love my eh2 (civic cx hatch) first off because i got it for 500$ was mainly thinking about fixing it and sellign it but man after i got it fixed and how easy it was to fix. I was hooked.....

The gas mileage is great to or should i say was great since right now its getting 0 miles to the gallon since im rebuilding the head and motor n stuff like that....I mean yea its just got everythign i could want in a car reliability, dont really care about fuel mileage but it gets it, ease to work on the thing, how much support there is community wise on the internest and aftermarket support if you need a part your sure to find it.....And mainly i fell inlove with my hatch its really the only car besides my '85 bmw 635csi that i have fallen in love with. and every waking moment i worry about the car or im planning something for it, or im looking stuff up for it. I dont know it has so many capabilities than any other car ive known of....i mean i liked my 85 prelude 2.0si but it was an auto so wasnt really interested in that car. though the styling was nice but now that i have my hatch its everything i would have ever wanted in a car and then some so yea im addicted in love and obsessed with my car.

#112608 I loved my Coupe, It was fast, and handled insanely awesome. Then it snew and I blew up my tranny in the snow, rebuilt that, got rod knock after having it work for a week so I was driving my back up car for a good 2-3weeks.

After getting it all rebuilt it didn't have the same feeling anymore. It still pulls hard, it is fast as hell and still handles amazingly. However Living in the city I never have anywhere to run it how I wanted to and got pulled over all the time. The city just killed all the fun I have in the car, It wasn't fun at all going slow, When I was going fast, such as when I left the city and went for long drives, It was fun, However I just dont have the time for that anymore. I ended up selling my Coupe.

I still have my Sedan which never gets pulled over despite me driving it harder then I did the coupe, Its tons of fun to drive slow. I love it. It wont win any drag races, or wont take that turn at 60+ but it puts a stupid smile on my face when driving it. Plus getting 40mpg in town is awesome.

#112609 because when i walk into a car park and see it there amongst "normal" cars i just think wow that looks cool, i dont care if half the cars there are more expensive cos thats not what its all about its about what you've done and how it stands out without being OTT all at the same time
