eg with swap still has the milage over the accord
eg is lighter so more fun
s2000 still great milage but very exspensive
crx iis cheap but aftermarket parts are prolly soon to peter out
just a thought
Plus getting a crx is all but too easy finding one without body rot is going to be the hard part since the bumpers also bolt to the bumper supports and those tend to rot really nice so yea.....
Now like hatchie said S2k is very expensive
The accords like i said even with a swap are heavy and i think thw wife may just want the accord since it has 4drs that is why i suggested getting a 4dr eg since they are both light and have 4dr's easy access for all....plus you get the benifits that every other eg had except interior parts relateing to the 4dr are 4dr only of coarse but alot of the parts you get in a 4dr are interchangable with other 2dr/3dr cars.....and id say shoot for possibly finding a ex 4dr eg since then you will have a sunroof and all power options that should make the wife happy.....and even if you buggy down on the stock z6 for right now d series have alot of options too lol but yea you can always buy a gsr in the end and swap it in...
And my stance on eg's is so far they have been the easiest to drive/work on/and upgrade out of the 88-2000 civic line up ive had some troubles wiht ek's but its mainly because its obd2 crapola i hate obd2....
And the 88-91 civic/crx's also have their little quarks plus to me they tend to be a little harder to upgrade and work on since there are hidden bolts, alot of them will be rust and most likely break and you have a nice crossmember up front which restricts how your exhaust can be run and so on and so forth....
And that is why i choose getting a eg and with the new development of you wife wanting the accord i think itd be best to get the 4dr civic eg.
