- Sat Apr 25, 2009 3:51 pm #113218 need a bit of help, when i leave my computer on, say if im downloading something and i leave my comp on and go out somewhere it logs itself off and when i log back in my programs need to boot back up just like if i was switching it on again ?!

Settings.
Control Panel.
Power options.

Make sure "Turn off hard disks" and "System standby" are both on never.

Then click on the Hiberate tab. Unclick the "Enable Hibernation" option.

Should be good then.
