Im new to the forum and ive just purchased myself a black EG SIR B16A2 it jus had a fresh 12 months MOT on it before i bought it but i was just wondering what these cars are like on maintenece, like after how many miles are you ment to change the oil ,pads ect.. its a great car and pulls a bit better than my old 1.2 i just want to keep the car in best shape as possible any advice would be great guys cheers

- Mon Dec 07, 2009 4:20 pm #160423 I change oil every 3000k miles, more for synthetic. The brakes have a warning indicator so they will make a squeak noise to let you know when they get low. You can take the wheel off and check too.
Check valve lash every 15k miles. Change tranny fluid every 20k miles?
Overall civics are very low maintenance. It's not normal for oem parts to wear out or break
