- Sun Nov 15, 2009 2:26 am #156595 So i bought a 98 civic dx loved it very much till i drove a friends civic hatch with vtec. I got jelous and went and bought myself a b18c motor. The swap its self took two days but getting the harness taken care of and the exhaust took almost an extra three weeks. It now works just fine and i love it even more. I havent hit redline or vtec just yet waiting for about 500 miles to let everything work its self out a bit.

He had to wait 5 weeks to get his harness back from rywire.
