A question for the parents

Hey everyone. Been lurking for a while and finally had a question to post.

I'm going to be a a father in March and have been in the market for another civic. I'm looking at a 4-door because of the baby seat but I was curious if any of you are doing the baby seat thing in a coupe. Is it difficult to get the baby carrier back there? I'm fine with a sedan but I'm looking around my area and there are SO many coupes for cheap. Figured I'd get your opinions.

Welcome to the site homie and Congrats on the baby :thumb:

Hey, I have 2 daughters and With my first daughter I had a eg hatch and when they are in a baby carrier, that you know attaches to a base in the car, it is super easy. Its once they get bigger and you have to almost get back there to put them in and buckle them into a stationary seat that gets annoying.

It is doable But IMHO its better all around to get a sedan so you dont have to climb back there to put them in. I drive an xb now and its soooo much easier :D

GL with your search, hope you find what your looking for.

Thanks for the input guys.

I've always been a hatch guy personally. I've just been curious about this car seat thing. The Chicco seat has a smooth install/removal process so I may stick with that preference if it's doable (albeit, slightly more troublesome).

And I cant wait to get to Punksz6's stage cuz I've been eying those Recaro baby seats like crazy!
