hey all,

my name is Josh and I live in Michigan. I have a black 1995 EX Coupe that I picked up for $1100. When i got it the odometer read about 212,000. I know its alot of miles but it still runs like a champ. Now it reads about 215,000. I have lots of plans in store for it but I just don't have alot of money so I am doing what I can to it. So far I have done GSR Leathers, JDM ITR Shift Boot, Painted Valve Cover and Intake Tube (temporary just to dress the motor up a bit), JVC CD Player, a Power Rev Racing Fuel Pressure Gauge, and on the way I have a Ceramic Coated Header, Front and Rear Lower Tie Bars and a Type R Style Brushed Aluminum Shift Knob. Here are some pictures of the car.

Good grab, yeah it needs a lil TLC, but all our cars did at one time or another, I'm sure you'll get it under control.

There's no way around honda rust up here in the north...
After that is fixed it will be a clean looking car. That's a good amount of miles for a well maintained civic

im planning on putting a custom 2.5" catback on it soon and a nice sound system. and then after that just rebuilding the z6 thats in it or swapping just the motor for a d15b. I am going to build this into an all around show car. I'm going with 15" Chrome Rota J-Mag's, a Mugen front lip and a Type R rear lip a flush mount rear spoiler and maybe JDM fenders. But my favorite part that I'm going to get soon is the Mugen Style Valve Cover lol. I dont know why i just like it alot. Also I am going to fix the rust and get it painted back to the black that it is. I love it, its all full of red metal flakes/glitters . And maybe in the future a full N/A build up. Boost for where I live really is not practical at all. Also, have any of you heard anything at all about Vogtland springs? I want to lower my car about 1.8-2.0" and still keep the best ride quality that I can.

thanks for the welcome guys... also, i have been hearing that if i was to put y8 pistons in my engine, it would raise my compression.. is this true? i really havent messed with internal work on a d series so i wouldnt know.
