Civic EG

Hi everyone

Stumbled across this site and I really like it.
I am also a member on Clubeg6, but I think I like this one better!

Anyways, I've always liked this generation of civics and I bought a 92 Si over the summer. Its not in great shape, but I'm workin on it.

Been to Shannonville drag racing a few times; really fun!!
Next year I'm hoping to do some track days too.

If all goes as planned I will do a build-up on my little car.

I've got a few at home. Not too pretty right now though, I'm in the middle of cutting out rusty fenders.

Thanks for the warm welcome.

Here she is in all her glory the day I towed her home!







As you can see it was pretty filthy. The previous owner drove on gravel roads alot, so the paint is gone on the front bumper and the left headlight and signal is cracked.
The car cleaned up ok, looked better after a wash. You can see in the 3rd pic where someone tried unsuccessfully to fix the rust. I'm currently in the process of fixing it properly.

I have purchased a used hood since those pics where taken. The original hood was really rusted around the front. I bought one from the wreckers off a teal hatchback and spraypainted it flat black for now.

Unfortunately, he beat me on a holeshot! I was gaining on him slowly the whole way down, but lost by a foot or two.

His car is lowered with 17" Kumho Ecsta tires. He gets me in the 60' by about a tenth of a second consistently, but my ETs are usually a tenth faster than his.

I usually run in the 16.4 sec range, had a slower run here.
