- Sun Mar 23, 2008 12:26 am #47319 So I fixed the screw problem and finished changing out my thermostat. Now I have a coolant leak in the hose from the block to the firewall. Does anyone know what that's for? Also the thing from the firewall feels a little oval instead of round. How would you clamp a hose to something like that. The screwtype hose clamp doesnt seem to be working too well.

- Sun Mar 23, 2008 2:10 am #47328 Try using an oem clamp, they are tight. but it sounds like you may have crushed the round tube a little and now it is oval. maybe try bending it round again so it will seal better.
