d16z6 engine problem

coil looked fine but not sure what a bad one looks like. there wasnt anything black like it was burnt up or anything. i just unhooked the vtec wires and still nothing.

all the harnesses are connected, plugs are all the way in the ecu, i havent tried another dizzy yet, hoping thats what it is, car cranks over but no damn spark.

I know it might sound dumb but did you check is you put the dizzy in the correct way? A friend of mine did a d16z6 swap two weeks ago and the car didn't crank and it was because he put the dizzy upside down.

I know it might sound dumb but did you check is you put the dizzy in the correct way? A friend of mine did a d16z6 swap two weeks ago and the car didn't crank and it was because he put the dizzy upside down.

lol..yeah, my car ran fine until my friend hooked up the vtec. i can understand where your coming from but its on the right way. he has the same motor as me and i need to put his dizzy on my car and try it. thanks alot for commenting on all this and trying to help me figure this out. hopefully when i try his dizzy it will start. ill keep you posted on this until i figure it out but thanks alot for this man.
