#172401 ok well to me its a waste of money but then again soo is getting random JDM replica pieces its just my opinion
i understand that the greddy is nice and its well built
but for me its not worth it bc i can build things just like it for a fraction of the price
i like custom exhaust but thats just me

#172407 i respect your opinion, but you cant compare Greddy or Apexi to being 'just like' a homemade exhaust, cause it isnt. But we all have different ears, and different opinions, so its whatever.
The only reason i have a GReddy is because it came with the totaled car i bought. If i didnt get it with that, id probably have a pieced together exhaust as well.

#172414 I've had a few custom exhausts that I have liked.

I just see GReddy and Apexi as absolutely to expensive just for an exhaust. Hell, $200 for me is pushing it, but I'd like to find something ok I suppose. Yonaka looks and sounds decent for the price, but has to be modified to go on my car, lol.

as long as its not ricey with a 4inch tip lol

you can go with whatever exhaust setup you like. If you already have aftermarket exhaust and want your car quite, Have a Turbo Muffler welded in. This will be much quiter, but with a nice deep tone.

If your completely stock and want a nice quite setup Getting 2.25-2.5" Cat back exhaust if your staying N/A, or 3" if you plan on boosting. Have one made at a Muffler shop and have them use mandrel bends. Stick a Turbo Muffler at the rear. If you want a super quite exhaust have Resonators put in along your piping.

Adding an aftermarket header will also deepen your exhaust tone.
