arp head bolts question....z6

- Fri Aug 28, 2009 4:23 am #140211 i just got my arp head studs for my d16z6 and the instructions say tell me what ftlbs to torque the bolts to but how tight do i screw the actual studs(the longs ones with the allen head bolts in them)....ui have never used arp before so all help is appreciated

torquing the nuts will do the rest.
i always run a tap thorough the threads to clean them out.
even when the blocks come back from the machine shop all shiney and clean, the threads are full of crap.

i clean the threads on anything i will be torquing.
this is to insure the most accuracy.
