k so i just rebiult my motor and reindstalled it on my car....started it and she fired good and idled good for about 5min, then i noticed that it had started pissing oil all over the drive way from the crank side of the car.....i have no clue what is causing this! i did everything right so i thought! torqued everythihng to haynes manual specs and bought everything new oem from honda :( i dont know where its leaking from iether, but it looks like it may even be leaking from the HG...is that possible??? could this have anything to do with the sandwich adapter plate i put between the block and the oil filter?? or the use of ARP head studs?? idk im so pissed right now :x all help is appreciated, thanks

All of the things you mentioned (HG, Oil Filter, Crank) are in different places. First thing is to figure out which one, if any, is leaking oil. I'd start by checking the oil filter, sometimes the old o-ring can separate from the filter and stay on the engine. Then you have a bad seal when you put the new one on.
HG is easy to check, look around the perimeter of your head for oil. Check behind the timing cover too. ARP head studs should have nothing to do with it unless you torqued them wrong. not having a clean surface for the HG to mate to can cause sealing problems.

ok i found the leak...its in the head gasket and all my ARP were torqued correctly...i rechecked em with a different torque wrenchg before re-removing the head.... seriosly my hatch is done i have had this sucker for almost 3 years now and probably driven it for a month because there is always somethin wrong with it...im sellin this POS...
