I'm learning as I go on here and reading the how to's for engine swaps. are what you call axles what we in the uk call driveshafts?? or not lol

not really. drive shafts are on rear wheel drive cars which also have axles..

Sometimes at the auto stores they call them driveshadts. I guess it depends who your talking to

The bottom two picture are drive shafts/axle shafts same thing. there just two different style of joints on them,

axles?
