Alright this girl is selling her Si with a B16a2 in it. She says when it first starts up while it is cold, there is a slight noise at the bottom of the engine. I don't know what kind of noise (waiting on the response). Any ideas though on what it could be? It is a '00 Honda Civic Si. Needs a new hood, front bumper, paint job and this problem fixed. Do you guys think that is worth $2500? Thanks for the help in advanced brothers :thumb:

Well I am going to see if it was in an accident first because I was curious to why the front bumper and hood had to be replaced.

2500 isnt too bad for an si model with a b-swap already done. Hopefully it was legit work. Engine noises are hard to diagnose unless you can actually hear it. Did she give any indications to if it was a rattle, squeal, tapping?

Bottom line is 2500 isnt bad at all.

FYI...A 99-00 Si has a B-series motor from the factory.

But I would give $2000 for it.

yea, common knowledge. I missed the year in the OP. My mind went to EG chassis due to this being an EG site.
