While in park and neutral my 95 Honda Civic goes up and down 'recently I have had issues with it starting but I tighten a thinghy next to the starter and it seems fine now and a bypass hose blew and it got replaced all this has happened within the past few days and all got fixed but now I have this idleing problem and I also took off. The air intake which is a joke if an intake is like 6 inches long not kidding (no I didn't put it in) I took it off so I could work better connects it up maybe
need to look at again

Moving to engine General section.
If your coolant hose came off, then you probably have some air in the cooling system which will cause the problem you described.

The other thing I would check for is a vacuum leak.

Well it coulda have been air in the system or the fact that it had almost no water,I guess it helps to refill the coolant when a hose blows up javascript:emoticon(':o'), everything is running good now ,it bubble a lot when filling it up so it might have been ,TY
problem is fixed :o :o
