:x

well it would seem that my recent thought of my head gasket being shot on me, were correct. i thought that was what it was, then i thought i may just be the IACV... but no.... started the car up this evening, then got out of it... and low behold.... mmm i smell sweet and tangy :x :x :x Fuck.... just fuck....

I'll get a video of what it's been doing recently tomorrow.

I had planned on getting a D15b... but i don't have the money for it right now...i fear that my suspension money may be going in a different direction as well...

that's the thing, i'm not gonna have the time to save the money to get the swap done, so i'm gonna have to probably bite the bullet and just do the head gasket, i'm frantically searching for a Z6 head so i can at least do a mini me... but i am not having luck at all

HG's are a pretty simple job, the shitty part is scraping off the remains of the old HG. I have a DIY for this 60% done. I was going to wait to post it, but if you need any help, let me know.

Teal whats you real name?

Anyway thanks for the offer, but my stepfather owns a shop so i can get shit i can't do done for pretty cheep, but this may be one of those thing i throw my hand in on to drop down the price. If i end up keeping the B7 head i'm gonna do valve seals and all that fun stuff too. cause the #4 cylinder has a leaky valve seal

HG's are simple. You seem to have good mechanic skills so you should be able to do it in a few hours :thumb: What motor do you have in there?

i think i have the same problem, but my smoke is nearly not as thick as yours, could my head gasket be gone too? my smoke is minimal, could i just be burning off old oil or summin?

it's not all smoke in that vid, mostly steam there cause that was a cold start up. and it was below freezing outside, but not by much..
