- Sun Apr 06, 2008 8:22 pm #49393 ok so i just replaced my VC gasket and i found that there was some oil in the spark plug well due to the bad gasket on the VC. i pulled it out and wiped everything off. the engine ran ok for a couple of days and now whenever i give it more than 1/4 throttle it jumps and backfires.

i think its either bad spark, or a clogged cat. coverter.

thoughts?
