- Mon Apr 07, 2008 8:25 pm #49568 Ok i have been burning oil, alot actually so i did a compression check and here is what i got

1-180psi
2-210psi
3-210psi
4-210psi

so as ordered i did a leak down test, well kinda i have a vacume tester that i rigged up to send compressed air into the cylinder and i cant hear it leaking out of anywhere and they all seem to leak down about the same. Does anybody have any suggestions on what to do now with out tearing into the engine to find the exact problem?

- Mon Apr 07, 2008 11:00 pm #49589 does anybody know what the pressure is for a jdm d15b non vtec? also i let the car idle and i pulled the dip stick and there was air coming out, now i'm not a genius but i'm thinking my #1 cylinder has bad piston rings, am i on the money
