Fuel Pressure Regulator

i g0t a esi vtec d16z6 engine
and i wana put a fuel Pressure regulator on it
What does a fuel Pressure regulator do
and is it useless to put a fuel pressure regulator on my engine or what

it will rise the fuel pressure so the engine will get more fuel and run more rich.
it has no use on a stock engine.

Your engine already has a fuel pressure regulator. All engines do. It keeps your fuel pressure at what it should be and increases fuel pressure as engine vacuum drops (less at idle, more at wide open throttle).
